The service uses advanced speech recognition technology to analyze the audio track of your video. It identifies spoken words, timestamps, and speaker changes, which allows for the generation of accurate transcripts and facilitates text-based editing.
It’s important to note that AI Video Cut primarily focuses on speech and doesn’t perform image recognition or object detection. As a result, the tool is most effective for videos that feature substantial dialogue rather than those that rely heavily on visual elements.

How to Use AI Video Cut
Using AI Video Cut is straightforward and user-friendly. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to make the most of the service.
Click the Sign in button at the top right corner of the screen.
Click either Sign in with Google or Sign in with Facebook. These methods provide a secure way to access your account.
Step 2: Upload Your Video
AI Video Cut allows you to upload videos in two different ways:
From Local Files
Locate the Upload file button on the dashboard.
Click the button, and a file dialog will open. Choose the video file you want to cut.

The platform supports various formats and recommends keeping the video length under 30 minutes for free users or up to 3 hours for premium users. Keep the file size to a maximum of 2GB per upload, regardless of your subscription status.
From YouTube
Paste a YouTube link into the URL field. The link must direct to a YouTube video rather than a playlist or channel. Please make sure the video is publicly available and age-appropriate.
Click the Submit button to add the video and start editing.
Step 3: Adjust the Editing Settings
Once your video is uploaded, you can select your preferences:
Pick the Output type. Expand the drop-down menu and pick one of the following options:
“Viral Clips” to find and clip the most impactful and attention-grabbing moments.
“Memorable Phrases” to turn standout quotes into short, shareable content.
“Topic Clips” to generate multiple videos based on the main topics of your video.
“Trailer” to create a summarized video featuring the most catchy phrases.
“Product Ads” to create a video ad for your product or service.
“Testimonial” to generate a video testimonial for your product or service.
“Instructions” to create a short, viral-ready tutorial clip from your DIY video.
“Product Features” to provide an overview of product features in a single video.
“Positive Highlights” to highlight the positive aspects of the main topic in a single video.
“Negative Highlights” to present the negative aspects of the main topic in a single video.
“Showcase” to create a video showing how your product solves real-life problems.
“Multi-Product Recap” to generate a summary comparing several products or services.
“Speaker’s Insights” to extract strong personal opinions or expert-style commentary.
“Jokes, Memes, and Funny Moments” to capture the most entertaining and humorous parts of your video.
“Podcast Jokes and Memes” to highlight spontaneous humor from podcast episodes.
Select the Aspect ratio supported by the target social media platform.
Pick the Speech language. By default, the settings are set to Auto, which enables automatic recognition. If the language in your video is less common, you have the option to select the preferred language from the list.
Specify the desired Clip length. Decide how long you want your final clip(s) to be.
Add captions. Make sure the switch located within the Captions section is on. After that, select one of the caption styles that you like best.
Step 4: Finalize and Export
Once you’ve selected the settings, click the Submit button.
Click the video in the list. After that, you can preview the video to ensure it meets your expectations.
If you would like to change the prompt, captions, or other settings, click the Regenerate button. You will be taken back to the initial settings selection screen. You won’t have to upload/link the original video again.
If you would like to fine-tune the transcript and change captions style, click the Edit button and use the built-in editor functionality. After making changes, you can choose to Overwrite the current version of the video, or Save it as a new version (this is recommended if you want to keep the original).
