How to use AI Video Cut Mobile Editor
AI Video Cut now has a mobile video editor. This means you can edit your clips anytime, anywhere, right from your phone. The Mobile Editor provides the same functionality as the desktop version, but optimized for smaller screens. You don’t need to download anything extra or do any complicated setup. Everything you need is already built into your AI Video Cut dashboard!
Here is a guide on how to use the Mobile Editor on your smartphone.
Step 1: Accessing the Mobile Editor
- Open AI Video Cut in your phone’s browser.
- Log in to your account.
- Go to My Projects and select the video you want to edit.
- Tap Edit to open the Mobile Editor.
Step 2: Editing Transcript
Once you are in the Mobile Editor, you can make a few tweaks to your video.
To edit a word or phrase:
- Tap the Transcript button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select a word or a phrase you would like to edit.
- Tap Edit and make your corrections
- Tap Done
To remove text:
- Tap the Transcript button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select a word or a phrase you would like to delete.
- Tap the “...” symbol.
- Select Remove Text
To remove text and video part:
- Tap the Transcript button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select a word or a phrase you would like to delete from a video.
- Tap the “...” symbol.
- Select Remove text and video
This feature is really great if you want to delete awkward or unnecessary moments and pause fillers.
Step 3: Editing Captions
If you want to change the style of your captions, you can always do that in the Mobile Editor.
To customize or disable captions:
- Tap the Captions button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on any caption style to preview it on your video.
- Toggle the captions ON/OFF switch to add or remove them from the video.
Step 4: Saving Changes
Once you are satisfied with your edits:
- Tap Apply above the preview of the video.
- Choose to overwrite your current video or save it as a new version.
- Wait for your video to process.
- Download your finished video directly to your phone.

Quick Tips
To get the best results, use the latest mobile browser, such as Chrome or Safari. If the captions don’t display correctly, check your language and style settings before exporting. Also, make sure you keep your phone in portrait orientation (vertical) for easier editing.
